Information collected
Marketing Asset Readiness Assessment
When you request your assessment result, the site processes your first name, email address, total score, five category scores, and whether you separately chose to subscribe to Digital Brain Fuel™ Weekly. Your individual yes-or-no answers stay in your browser and are not included in the assessment emails.
The site keeps one anonymous record of each completed assessment so that overall patterns can be studied and published. That record contains the total score, the five category scores, the weakest category, and the date. It does not contain your name, email address, company, newsletter choice, IP address, device information, or your individual yes-or-no answers, and it cannot be linked back to you or to the email you received. Because the record identifies nobody, it is not deleted in response to an individual deletion request; the identifiable copy held by Resend is.
Email, inquiries, and newsletter subscriptions
If you email Jeff, the information you provide may include your email address, name, message, business context, and any other details you choose to send. If you subscribe to Digital Brain Fuel™ Weekly, the site processes your first name, email address, subscription status, and signup source through Resend's contact and email systems.
Technical and security information
The site's hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security or diagnostic events.
Cookies and analytics
JeffLizik.com loads Google Analytics 4 using Google Consent Mode. Analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization are denied by default. Before you allow analytics cookies, Google may receive limited, cookieless measurement signals that communicate the denied consent state and help estimate basic site use. If you select “Allow Analytics,” Google Analytics may also process pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device information, referring source, timestamps, and selected interaction or conversion events.
Your analytics choice is stored in your browser's local storage. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may set first-party measurement cookies such as _ga. If you continue without cookies, analytics storage remains denied and existing Google Analytics cookies for this site are removed. You can reopen “Analytics Choices” at any time or clear this site's browser storage and cookies. The site's analytics event code does not send your first name, email address, message content, or individual assessment answers to Google Analytics. JeffLizik.com does not currently use advertising pixels or analytics for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How information is used
- Calculate, display, generate a personalized PDF scorecard for, email, and follow up on requested assessment results.
- Respond to inquiries, speaking requests, partnership discussions, and other messages.
- Manage requested newsletter communications, send the welcome sequence and weekly issues, and honor opt-out requests.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site.
- Measure aggregate page use, assessment completion, newsletter signup, and selected calls to action through cookieless signals or, when permitted, analytics cookies.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the site and its users.
Where applicable, the legal bases for this processing are your request or consent, steps taken at your request, legitimate interests in operating and securing the site and responding to communications, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent for future marketing emails at any time.
When information is shared
Information is disclosed only as needed to operate the site and communications, including to:
- Vercel, for website hosting, delivery, logs, and security.
- Resend, to store newsletter contacts and subscription status, run the welcome sequence, deliver assessment result and notification emails, and process email opt-outs.
- Google Analytics, to process limited cookieless measurement signals and, when permitted, analytics-cookie measurement and conversion events.
- Email service providers, to receive and respond to messages.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, a business transaction, or protection of rights and safety.
JeffLizik.com does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention
Assessment and inquiry records are generally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction. They may be kept longer when an active relationship, requested subscription, legal obligation, dispute, security need, or legitimate recordkeeping requirement applies. Newsletter contact information is retained in Resend until you unsubscribe or the subscription is otherwise closed; limited suppression information may be retained to honor an opt-out.
Security and international processing
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. JeffLizik.com and its service providers operate in the United States, so information may be processed outside your country. Where required, appropriate protections for international transfers will be used.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to complain to a privacy regulator. California residents may also request information about covered collection and disclosure practices and may exercise applicable rights without discriminatory treatment.
To make a request, email jeff@redshiftdm.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. Reasonable steps may be required to verify your identity. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe method in the message or by emailing the same address.
Children's privacy
This business-focused site is not directed to children under 13, and JeffLizik.com does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact Jeff so it can be reviewed and deleted as appropriate.
Third-party links and policy changes
The site may link to websites operated by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. This policy may be updated when the site, service providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top will identify the latest version.
